The hotel was just Very good in everything. Their service, hospitality and Especially the location, which was just excellent. The staffs were kind and very humble. I booked to stay in the hotel from the 3rd of January to the 6th of January 2023, and had to extend my stay to the 9th. Mr. Richard and Ms. Alice from the reception who were both Extremely kind and sorted out everything for me. Mr. Richard helped in each and every way, he was just Excellent. Ten Hill Place is the Kind for hotel that i would definitely go back to and definitely recommend to friends. Though not a 5 star but i felt like i was in one. Thank you Team Ten Hill Place.

The breakfast was adequate. The staff management of breakfast was smooth. Perhaps the range of food on offer was a little disappointing/dull given the standard of the rest of the hotel. Think about making more of the healthy options, and slightly less if the ‘traditional’. Extend your range of cereals. The outstanding feature of the hotel are the staff. Check in and out was notable. Scottish hospitality has traditionally had a poor reputation. The standards in Ten were a really refreshing surprise.

I had a single room, which was small but roomy enough for one person. Lovely, large walk-in shower, comfortable double bed, window easily opened enough to allow fresh air into the room. Good wifi and desk area where I could work. Location was excellent for my reason for being in Edinburgh, easy access to public transport. Just off the main road to be quiet and away from street noise. Staff very friendly, accommodating. Breakfast good.

The room was lovely with lots of space, really comfortable bed and a high pressure shower (which is a must for me!). We booked the hotel last minute (literally when we were outside the front of the building) as the other place we had booked turned out to be awful - the staff at this hotel were so kind, it really turned around our experience of Edinburgh! I will definitely stay here again!

Everything is on par, location is splendid and room is tidy, staff are really helpful, and no charge is imposed on luggage storage on the day of our departure. The reception also waited for us on our day of arrival past midnight as we had a delay in our flight, so don’t worry if it says “your room may be cancelled if you check in after midnight” during your confirmation!
